Field Service Engineer (Large Format Printers)

Location: New Jersey, United States; candidate must reside in New Jersey. Field-based role with travel to customer sites; approximately 75% travel. Relocation is not offered.

Salary: $28.85–$36.05 per hour for candidates in the United States.

What you will do

• Install and configure large-format printers, including hardware, software, and network components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, and pneumatic issues.
• Diagnose inkjet printing and color-management problems, including calibration.
• Use monitoring tools to identify and prevent potential service issues.
• Execute installation and escalation plans while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Train customers, provide service updates, resolve concerns, and maintain customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in field service, technical support, or printer repair.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, electronic, computer, and networking troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of inkjet printing technology, color calibration, and color management.
• Ability to integrate hardware and software solutions and work independently under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to lift, bend, and stoop throughout the day.
• Must reside in New Jersey and be able to travel to customer sites.
