Field Experience Coordinator (Social Work)

Salary: $26.44–$31.25 per hour

What you will do

• Serve as the primary contact for a cohort of students on field experience requirements, applications, registration, site searches, and placement issues.
• Coordinate with students, field instructors, agency representatives, faculty, contract administrators, and field experience staff.
• Establish agency affiliation agreements and coordinate site onboarding and approval requirements.
• Interview agencies, review field instructor documentation, and assess whether agencies meet field experience criteria.
• Maintain student and agency records, applications, policies, communications, and documents across multiple platforms and the social work database.
• Support orientations, team initiatives, and the training and mentoring of new team members.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited university required.
• At least two years of post-MSW practice experience required.
• Ability to manage high-volume activities with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to support non-traditional students and coordinate the administrative aspects of field experience.
• Commitment to diversity and social change.
• Ability to participate in residencies, national faculty meetings, and other work-related travel.

• Experience supporting students in a university setting.
• Experience providing academic counseling and advising.
• Experience with learning management systems.
