Senior Financial Analyst (Manufacturing)

Location: Dover Plant, Dover, Delaware, United States

Base salary: $89,800–$112,200 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead annual operating plan development, including product cost standards, raw and packaging yields, master recipes, cost-change bridges, and supporting schedules.
• Lead weekly and monthly reporting of actual and forecasted costs for unit and plant manufacturing management.
• Analyze direct-expense variances and KPI performance, providing detailed reports and explanations to plant leadership.
• Support month-end close, including journal entries, SAP activities, FAC reviews, and analysis of performance drivers.
• Identify process improvements and quantify savings from Continuous Improvement and Production teams.
• Maintain BOM accuracy, inventory controls, financial policies, and internal controls while supporting plant leaders and financial-information users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Understanding of general accounting and cost accounting principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• High integrity and the ability to maintain a strong controls environment and ensure attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including complex spreadsheet creation and accuracy checks.

• Strong experience with SAP, Hyperion, or other ERP and financial systems.
