Engineering Manager (Power Systems)

Location: Vacaville, California, United States

Salary: $136,000–$201,000 per year for Engineering Manager I; the range may vary by level, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Lead engineering teams in the West Region within the Engineering Services Division.
• Lead discipline, technology, and process initiatives while managing cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Support portfolio planning and long-term strategy.
• Attract, hire, supervise, and develop individual contributors.
• Participate in external meetings and present at large internal forums.
• Apply SEL values, operating principles, and World Class Manufacturing principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of related engineering or management experience.
• Strong technical knowledge in one or more engineering disciplines or technologies.
• Experience designing, producing, or supporting successful products and processes.
• Ability to manage complex product-line and process problems requiring creativity and ingenuity.
• Project management experience and the ability to define technical approaches and solutions.
