Manager Project Management & Construction I & C Engineering

Location: Hybrid role based at hirify.global Plaza in Charlotte, NC; other locations within the hirify.global territory may be considered. Relocation is offered for the position, but relocation assistance is not provided.

What you will do

• Manage and direct discipline engineering staff by assigning work, setting priorities, and enforcing performance standards.
• Mentor and develop engineers while supporting them through technical issues.
• Oversee engineering contractors and review engineering documents for quality and technical rigor.
• Participate in model reviews, site and factory visits, and resolution of requests for information.
• Provide the basis and logic for decisions on complex engineering issues.
• Troubleshoot engineering problems arising during construction, commissioning, and warranty periods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in ABET-accredited Engineering.
• 10 or more years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of power plant design, construction, and commissioning for combined-cycle and/or renewable power plants.
• Knowledge of digital control systems, including control logic engineering, graphics development, and alarm management.
• Leadership, communication, decision-making, attention to detail, and employee development skills.
• Experience leading dynamic teams in office and field environments.
