Press Operator 2 - 2nd Shift (Offset Printing)

Location: Quakertown, Pennsylvania, United States. Onsite, 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.

Salary: $20.19–$33.78 per hour. Additional compensation may include a $3 per hour shift premium, a $2,000 sign-on bonus for new hires, overtime, call-in, and standby pay.

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain multiple press machines.
• Complete make-ready tasks, including installing plates or cylinders, preparing blankets, and adjusting tension and register.
• Inspect plates and cylinders for imperfections and verify image positioning.
• Perform color corrections and press adjustments to meet production quality specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain presses; complete minor repairs and replace worn or broken parts.
• Perform manufacturer-recommended periodic maintenance.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, specifications, equipment, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read job specifications and determine suitable press settings, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to make precise control adjustments and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of the packing pressure required for different printing jobs.
• Proficiency using a micrometer to mount and align printing plates.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
