Lead Product Designer, Share

Location: Draper, Utah, with location-flexible work from an eligible US office, home, or a hybrid arrangement, subject to role and location restrictions.

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 base annually, with eligibility for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Lead design initiatives from concept through delivery, ensuring consistency, quality, and cohesion.
• Define the long-term product vision and strategy for sharing family-history discoveries.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, content, marketing, and customer insights teams.
• Translate qualitative research, customer needs, and quantitative data into intuitive and emotionally resonant experiences.
• Create high-quality user flows, prototypes, and polished interactions while connecting features into a unified experience.
• Advocate for customers, raise design quality through critique, and mentor other designers.

Requirements

• Significant experience designing consumer products that drive engagement and customer value.
• Experience working as a lead individual contributor while remaining hands-on.
• Strong systems-thinking, interaction design, and visual design skills, demonstrated through a portfolio.
• Ability to simplify complex problems and communicate a clear product vision across disciplines.
• Experience collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other cross-functional teams.
• Comfort working in ambiguity through experimentation and iteration.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer subscription products, social experiences, storytelling products, creator tools, or products focused on memories, identity, and connection.
