Lead Product Designer (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States; New York or San Francisco, US. Fully remote, with a preference for working in the Eastern timezone.

Salary: $185,000–$220,000 per year, plus stock options and company-paid benefits.

hirify.global is building enterprise software for Autonomous Customer Experience, including AI agents that communicate with buyers through voice and chat, reason across context, and act throughout the customer journey.

What you will do

• Own product design from problem framing and research through interaction design, high-fidelity UI, prototyping, implementation, and iteration.
• Design interaction patterns for human-AI collaboration, helping users understand, guide, trust, and control autonomous software.
• Simplify complex B2B workflows involving configuration, integrations, multi-step processes, system states, permissions, and data-rich interfaces.
• Shape buyer-facing experiences and the tools customers use to configure, deploy, understand, and manage AI agents.
• Partner with Product and Engineering, run customer conversations and usability sessions, and use feedback and product data to improve shipped experiences.
• Evolve the design system and reusable interaction patterns while staying involved through implementation and design QA.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience, ideally with complex B2B SaaS or similarly sophisticated digital products.
• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional interaction and visual design craft.
• Experience simplifying complex workflows, configuration-heavy products, admin experiences, workflow builders, data-rich interfaces, or products with meaningful depth and state.
• Strong product judgment, systems thinking, prototyping skills, and comfort working through ambiguity.
• Experience conducting usability research and speaking directly with customers.
• Ability to partner deeply with engineers and make thoughtful design tradeoffs within technical constraints.

Nice to have

• Experience designing AI-native or agentic products involving trust, control, automation, uncertainty, or human-AI collaboration.
• Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup and with enterprise software, workflow tools, integrations, or configurable platforms.
• Fluency with AI and code-based prototyping tools such as v0, Lovable, Figma Make, Cursor, or Claude Code.
• Experience evolving a design system and exposure to revenue or go-to-market technology.
