Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: Seattle, United States; hybrid with office attendance Monday through Thursday and work from home on Fridays after onboarding

On-target earnings: $160,000–$190,000 annually, including base salary and quarterly performance-based commissions.

What you will do

• Design capture readiness, active states, interruptions, recovery, and completion across desktop, mobile, web, bots, and native integrations.
• Define a consistent customer-facing model for capture state while applying platform-specific interaction patterns where appropriate.
• Design permissions, consent, disclosure, notification, objection, and opt-out experiences for multi-party meetings.
• Help users create accurate meeting records from notes, whiteboard photos, files, and externally recorded media without overstating what Read captured.
• Shape live in-meeting assistance including notes, questions, and retrieval while distinguishing preliminary live content from the finished record.
• Own design direction from problem framing through launch, implementation, and evaluation, partnering closely with Product and Engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience and ownership of a complex problem area in a shipped product.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong interaction and visual design craft, systems thinking, and end-to-end product ownership.
• Experience designing multi-state experiences with edge cases, failure modes, recovery paths, and technical constraints.
• Ability to shape product direction, prototype complex behavior, influence scope, and maintain design quality through implementation.
• Fluency with AI-assisted design workflows and judgment about when AI improves or weakens the product experience.
• Strong partnership with Product and Engineering, with a multiplier mindset that improves the quality of the wider team’s work.

Nice to have

• Experience with media capture, recording, streaming, transcription, or playback.
• Familiarity with permissions, background processes, connectivity, synchronization, or long-running application state.
• Experience with privacy-sensitive, multi-party, real-time, probabilistic, or AI-generated products.
• Experience designing accessible, low-attention, or peripheral interfaces.
