Senior Program Manager (Robotics)

Location: Hybrid role, majority on-site at offices in San Jose and Watsonville, California, United States. Some travel may be required for customers, partners, field deployments, and company initiatives.

What you will do

• Lead programs and connect Product Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Own end-to-end plans covering product development, mechanical and electrical hardware, manufacturing, firmware, controls, and autonomy software.
• Build and maintain program charters, scopes, budgets, schedules, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Run stand-ups, milestone reviews, and leadership-level status updates across product and engineering disciplines.
• Track scope, budget, resources, and risks; develop mitigation plans and escalate tradeoffs with clear options.
• Coordinate hardware lead times with supply chain and procurement, and formalize program management processes as the company scales.

Requirements

• PMP certification.
• 5+ years of program management experience in a hardware-and-software product environment such as robotics, autonomous systems, or industrial hardware.
• Experience managing schedules and dependencies across product management, mechanical/electrical engineering, and software engineering teams.
• Strong command of program management tools such as Jira and Gantt charts, plus leadership reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to align stakeholders with different priorities and vocabularies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in both startup and established-company environments.
• Experience with robotics, autonomous vehicles, or embedded systems.
• Familiarity with Agile and stage-gate/NPI processes.
