Technical Program Manager (Robotics)

Location: Hybrid, based in the London or Sunnyvale office, combining office and workshop time with work from home.

What you will do

• Lead complex, cross-functional technical programs across the engineering organization.
• Own project lifecycles, structure execution, and improve delivery predictability.
• Identify bottlenecks and streamline workflows, tooling, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate multiple teams, align stakeholders, manage expectations, and accelerate decisions.
• Anticipate risks, develop mitigation plans, and protect timelines and quality.
• Lead retrospectives and implement continuous improvements to processes, collaboration, and outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years leading complex, multi-team software or technology programs in fast-paced or early-stage environments.
• Technical understanding of modern software, machine learning, and robotics stacks.
• Strong systems thinking, project planning, prioritization, dependency, and risk management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, influence without authority, and maintain alignment in ambiguous or high-pressure situations.
• Product-minded approach focused on outcomes, impact, and defining successful results.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager.
• Engineering or computer science degree, or previous experience working as an engineer.
• Experience with Jira or similar tools.
• Exposure to autonomous vehicles, robotics, perception, vehicle hardware or embedded systems, machine learning, simulation, evaluation, or other safety-critical or compute-heavy domains.
