Indirect Procurement Buyer II (Automotive)

What you will do

• Develop a strategic supply base for indirect procurement.
• Lead supplier negotiations and manage RFIs, RFQs, Master Services Agreements, and commercial agreements.
• Source automotive indirect services, goods, and equipment while balancing cost, quality, and delivery.
• Own automotive indirect procurement activities, including supplier readiness, risk mitigation, and launch timing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver cost reductions, improve supplier quality, and ensure compliance with procurement terms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8–10 years of experience in indirect procurement.
• Proven experience sourcing automotive indirect services, goods, and equipment.
• Experience with ERP systems and implementation, such as SAP, NetSuite, or Zip.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, negotiation, and business case analysis skills.
• Ability to identify process issues, drive operational improvements, and complete projects on time in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Professional Services procurement experience in R&D.
