What you will do

• Source and purchase materials, components, fabricated and machined parts, welded components, supplies, and services for manufacturing operations.
• Review ERP requisitions, issue requests for quotation and purchase orders, and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
• Analyze technical drawings, dimensions, tolerances, finishes, specifications, and manufacturing requirements with suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and performance across quality, cost, service, and delivery.
• Support supplier development programs through vendor visits, audits, evaluations, and corrective actions.
• Analyze ERP procurement data and key performance indicators while resolving purchasing, invoicing, and quality issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, operations management, engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
• 7+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with machined, fabricated, welded, or engineered components.
• Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, technical drawings, specifications, tolerances, and component sourcing.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Office, procurement data analysis, and reporting.
• Employment eligibility to work in the United States is verified through E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience with Syteline.
• CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM certification.
