Project Cost Analyst (Transmission)

Location: Westwood, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Employees must be able to work up to five days in the office when required.

Annual salary: $95,050–$105,610, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Monitor and report project budgets, contracts, cash flows, variances, trends, and completion costs.
• Perform cost forecasting, cost control, productivity analysis, and variance reporting.
• Review bid specifications, change orders, invoices, vendor performance, and material contracts.
• Evaluate the cost impact of scope and productivity changes and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate project work orders and purchase orders with financial, accounting, purchasing, and stores functions.
• Maintain the Project Cost Commitment Program and provide cost, quantity, and productivity data for project planning and scheduling.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required; a finance degree is strongly preferred.
• Three or more years of experience in cost analysis is required.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating estimates, budgets, cash flows, plans, and schedules.
• Knowledge of cost and schedule specifications, contract administration techniques, contract types, and contract applicability.
• Ability to prepare clear and concise written, oral, and graphical reports.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; applicants requiring immigration-related sponsorship will not be considered.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Eversource accounting methods, budgeting systems, UVLs, and Microsoft software, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with the Project Management Institute's Body of Knowledge.
