Director, Market Access Analytics and Enablement (Healthcare)

Location: Fully remote from a home office; position is associated with Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Approximately 10% international travel, primarily to the United States, may be required.

Annual salary: $206,000–$240,000 CAD, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and manage a growing analytics and enablement team within the Americas Market Access organization.
• Own the strategy and execution of market access analytics, enablement tools, dashboards, operational tools, and analytics frameworks.
• Develop analyses covering healthcare coding, billing, pricing, fee schedules, payer coverage, utilization, and reimbursement metrics.
• Use AI-based tools and data-driven insights to support decision-making, KPI development, and business process optimization.
• Manage key initiatives end to end, ensuring timely delivery and business continuity.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Field Reimbursement, Strategy, HEOR, Marketing, Sales, Product Development, IT, Regulatory, and Medical & Scientific Affairs, while overseeing external consultants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of related experience, master’s degree with 8+ years of healthcare analytics experience, or doctoral degree with 5+ years of work experience.
• 6+ years of data analytics experience creating and deploying tools and dashboards using large datasets and data warehouses such as Snowflake.
• Experience with business analytics and data visualization tools, including SmartSheet, Power BI, and Excel.
• 6+ years of successful project management experience.
• Negotiation, business development, leadership, executive communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and willingness to travel internationally approximately 10% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare coding, including CPT, ICD-10, and DRG, reimbursement mechanisms, reimbursement rates, and insurance claims databases.
• Knowledge of payer decision-making, reimbursement rate setting, and federal program compliance requirements.
• Experience with reimbursement for medical devices, particularly in vitro diagnostic laboratory tests.
