Consultant, Strategic Workforce Planning Analytics

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end strategic workforce planning data and analytics process.
• Extract, clean, map, reconcile, and validate workforce datasets from Workday and external sources.
• Develop dashboards, analysis, visualizations, and executive-ready reporting for planning and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for automation, scalable tools, and self-service workforce reporting.
• Support project coordination, workplans, timelines, dependencies, milestones, and risk tracking.
• Research internal workforce data and external market trends while partnering with Human Resources and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in data management, analytics, and visualization using complex datasets.
• Experience managing data in Microsoft Access and developing dashboards in Power BI.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and data storytelling skills.
• Ability to investigate ambiguous problems, organize detailed information, and produce accurate insights and reports.
• Ability to collaborate with Human Resources and business stakeholders and coordinate strategic initiatives.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, SAS, Databricks, Alteryx, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Experience with data governance, people analytics, or strategic workforce planning.
