Electrical Estimator (Construction)

Location: Remote, available in Tempe, Ashburn, Bend, Boston, Charleston, Denver, Bellevue, or Lansdale, United States, and Calgary, Canada

Salary: $82,000–$130,000 per year, depending on skills, education, and experience

What you will do

• Analyze external contractor bids to support client value for money.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Evaluate cost plans and project scopes, identifying and addressing gaps.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for estimating.
• Optimize project costs through budget reviews, value engineering, and accurate estimates.
• Provide estimating expertise throughout the design and construction stages while maintaining clear cost documentation and communication.

Requirements

• Increasing experience with electrical scope and responsibility as an estimator in a construction environment.
• Advanced analytical skills for investigating and interpreting complex technical data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a friendly team environment.
• Ability to manage personal priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
