Estimator and Small Works Coordinator BAS/Mechanical Systems (BAS/Mechanical Systems)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; full in-office role. Must cover the southern Ontario territory, be eligible to work in Canada, obtain security clearance for sites, and have five years of Canadian residency.

Salary: CAD 70,000–85,000 per year.

What you will do

• Prepare estimates and proposals for BAS/HVAC equipment, new construction, retrofits, upgrades, repairs, and maintenance services.
• Review RFQs, RFPs, addenda, and contractual documents.
• Prepare statements of qualification, proposals, clarification requests, and addenda responses.
• Develop work breakdown structures, quantity takeoffs, and requests for quotes.
• Lead and participate in preliminary and final cost estimates.
• Participate in client, partner, consultant, pre-tender, sales, workshop, and seminar meetings while supporting the growth of the Toronto Building Controls division.

Requirements

• At least six months of experience estimating BAS or mechanical work.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Eligibility to work in Canada, site security clearance, and five years of Canadian residency.
• Availability for full-time, in-office work and coverage of southern Ontario.

Nice to have

• French and English bilingualism.
• Project management or project coordination experience with small mechanical projects.
