Claims Advocate

Location: Remote US

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year, plus bonus opportunity and benefits.

What you will do

• Handle claims from inception to resolution across Directors and Officers Liability, Errors and Omissions, Employment Practices Liability, Cyber and Technology Errors and Omissions, Fiduciary Liability, Crime, and Kidnap and Ransom coverage.
• Report new claims and circumstances accurately while identifying coverage issues that may affect resolution.
• Coordinate insurer consent for counsel retention and settlements, analyze coverage letters, and distribute insurer positions and status updates.
• Schedule and moderate client meetings and conference calls with insurers.
• Track and reconcile invoices against client policy retention and facilitate insurer reimbursement payments.
• Maintain electronic claim files, review loss runs, monitor matter status, and escalate issues to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification is beneficial.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Strong multitasking, time management, communication, relationship management, and analytical skills.
• Ability to present confidently to internal and external clients, identify client needs, and provide appropriate solutions.
• Ability to set realistic client expectations and deliver in a time-sensitive environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
