Outside Property Associate Claim Rep

Location: West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, United States. The role is based remotely with work from a primary residence or the nearest hirify.global office, plus inspections at residential and commercial properties. The position includes catastrophe deployments to other states and requires the physical ability to inspect structures, climb a 38–49 lb ladder, walk on roofs, and enter tight spaces.

Annual base salary: $52,600–$86,800, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Complete virtual, classroom, and on-the-job training in insurance policies, claim processes, systems, and procedures.
• Review, investigate, document, and evaluate first-party property claims under close supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party providers.
• Interpret policy coverage, assess building and contents damage, and prepare written or computer-assisted estimates.
• Communicate professionally with customers, claimants, and internal stakeholders while maintaining accurate claim records.
• Adapt to AI, digital transformation, system upgrades, and new claims-management tools; obtain required insurance licenses or UAS Remote Pilot Certification when applicable.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Bachelor's degree and previous customer service or insurance experience are preferred qualifications.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain an adjuster license where required by state law, generally within three months of starting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn claims-management and estimating software.
• Strong communication, judgment, organization, customer service, conflict-resolution, and continuous-learning skills.
