TL;DR
Business Analyst – Regulatory and Compliance (Banking/Regulatory Compliance): Assessing regulatory changes and translating complex requirements into actionable business and functional requirements for Corporate and Investment Banking with an accent on regulatory impact analysis, compliance, reporting, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement. Focus on identifying risks, gaps, and dependencies, supporting regulatory data analysis, and producing clear documentation within defined SLAs and timelines.
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina — hybrid
Salary: $55–$60 per hour on W2
Contract duration: 12+ months, with a possible extension up to two years or conversion to full-time employment.

What you will do
- Analyze regulatory requirements and assess their impact across business, technology, legal, and operations teams.
- Gather, document, and refine detailed business and functional requirements with stakeholders.
- Support regulatory-driven initiatives, reporting, and data analysis for the Corporate and Investment Banking business.
- Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business insights and delivery documentation.
- Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies related to regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with CIB, compliance, technology, legal, operations, and front-line business teams while meeting defined SLAs and timelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant Business Analyst experience.
- Strong experience with regulatory and compliance initiatives in US or global environments.
- Experience supporting regulatory reporting and data analysis.
- Knowledge of financial markets and banking operations.
- Ability to independently assess regulatory impacts, manage stakeholder relationships, and provide deep analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and critical-thinking skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Nice to have
- Experience with regulations affecting financial institutions and US or global regulatory frameworks.
- Experience supporting Corporate and Investment Banking or front-line banking teams.
- Exposure to enterprise regulatory programs or large-scale compliance initiatives.
