Senior Consultant (Budget)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the Oakville, Ontario office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Salary: CAD 100,300–125,400 annually.

Cloud-based software provider supporting procurement, budgeting, payments, and grants management for public sector and government organizations across North America.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end enterprise software implementations from kickoff through go-live, managing scope, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Act as the primary customer contact throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Facilitate structured discovery workshops to document current workflows, pain points, and business requirements.
• Design future-state workflows and guide customers through required process changes and adoption.
• Lead data migration, including mapping, cleansing, validation, and loading.
• Configure the budgeting application, build SQL views and stored procedures, and manage integrations and ETL processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise-level software implementations in professional services, consulting, or customer-facing delivery.
• 3+ years of SQL development experience, including views, stored procedures, and ETL processes.
• Experience facilitating JAD or similar structured workshops for business requirements gathering.
• Ability to design practical future-state workflows within system and process constraints.
• Strong project management, change management, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience presenting to and advising customer executives and project teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with government or public sector budgeting software or processes.
• Familiarity with public sector budgeting cycles, fund accounting, or related government finance concepts.
