Senior Talent Development Consultant

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States; hybrid with three days in the office per week. Occasional travel for leader and team effectiveness sessions is expected at 10–25%. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Salary: $85,000–$115,000 annually, with potential eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Partner with leaders and Human Resources Business Partners to define desired outcomes, scope, roles, decision points, and success measures.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and listening sessions to diagnose root causes and develop clear problem statements.
• Design and facilitate leader and team effectiveness sessions that surface issues, establish commitments, and create durable working agreements.
• Assess change impacts, risks, stakeholder needs, and readiness, then design interventions that support adoption beyond training.
• Coach leaders and managers with practical tools and performance support used in the flow of work.
• Track adoption and impact through qualitative and quantitative data, adapting interventions to sustain behavior change and performance improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of experience in talent development, organizational development, internal consulting, or a related role.
• Experience leading team effectiveness engagements and facilitating senior leader teams.
• Experience with change leadership and change enablement, including readiness, stakeholder management, communication, and reinforcement.
• Strong discovery, diagnosis, facilitation, synthesis, and recommendation-design skills, with executive presence and the ability to influence across organizational levels.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting large, matrixed organizations or financial services environments.
• Formal training or certification in team effectiveness, change management, or facilitation.
• Certification and experience with Hogan Assessments and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
• Experience designing performance support tools and leader toolkits.
