Director, Program Management (UAS)

Location: Simi Valley, California, United States; office-based role with occasional domestic and international travel.

Salary: $163,000–$261,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead a portfolio of complex domestic and international UAS production programs from proposal through delivery and sustainment.
• Provide strategic oversight to 5–8 Program and Project Managers responsible for schedules, pricing, technical performance, and contract execution.
• Develop revenue plans, master schedules, resource plans, budgets, and major program roles.
• Lead cross-functional teams delivering UAS production programs and occasional development-to-production transitions.
• Prepare statements of work, support contract negotiations, and review contracts and cost estimates.
• Develop personnel and improve policies, standards, and procedures for production program management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 7–10 years of directly related production and development program management experience.
• 5–7 years of people management experience overseeing Project and Program Managers.
• Experience leading a major function or product area and managing planning, staffing, budgeting, priorities, and organizational change.
• Strong strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, negotiation, production, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or qualifying asylee/refugee status required; ITAR/EAR compliance applies.
