Windchill Engineer (Windchill)

Location: Remote within the United States; travel may be required to customer, subcontractor, and other office sites. U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. national security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one, are required.

What you will do

• Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain Windchill PLM solutions and integrations.
• Lead solution architecture and implementation across PTC Windchill and ThingWorx platforms.
• Develop custom actions models, workflows, lifecycles, reports, and OIRs.
• Support data migration using Windchill Bulk Migrator, Load From File Framework, and custom scripts.
• Integrate Windchill with enterprise systems, cleanse data, and resolve application and data defects.
• Advise and train customer SMEs and end users while managing a small team of technical resources.

Requirements

• Active U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Current PTC Windchill certifications and a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or another engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience with PTC Windchill PLM and ThingWorx Navigate, including Windchill application development, architecture, and data migration.
• Experience with Windchill version 1+2 and ThingWorx version 9+; expertise with Windchill Bulk Migrator and data migration methodologies.
• Strong SQL scripting and knowledge of the Windchill database schema.
• Proficiency in Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, JSON, and HTML5, plus strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Windchill version 13+ experience and AWS cloud services knowledge.
• Knowledge of DoD software policies, Agile development, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Windchill performance troubleshooting experience.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration and shell scripting experience.
• Configuration Status Accounting or Provisioning experience in the U.S. DoD or military industrial sector, plus Security+ certification.
