Implementation Engineer (Salesforce)

What you will do

• Configure and validate Salesforce solutions, including fields, page layouts, permissions, automation, reports, dashboards, and customer-specific settings.
• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions, implementation tasks, and delivery plans with Implementation Managers.
• Build and troubleshoot Salesforce Flows, validation rules, data updates, and configuration-driven business logic.
• Support data migration, cleanup, repair, and backfill activities using Data Loader, reports, exports, and structured imports.
• Configure Salesforce security and sharing models, troubleshoot root causes, and communicate resolution options.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on technical gaps, enhancements, QA, UAT, go-live readiness, and implementation documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience implementing and configuring Salesforce or Salesforce-based SaaS solutions for customers.
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and permissions.
• Experience building and troubleshooting Salesforce Flows.
• Understanding of Salesforce security and sharing architecture, including profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules, and object- and field-level security.
• Experience with data migration or backfill activities and the ability to translate customer requirements into technical implementation tasks.
• Experience configuring Salesforce environments with managed packages, including package constraints, extension patterns, and upgrade impacts.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience in healthcare, credentialing, provider data management, compliance, or other regulated industries.
• Experience with integrations, APIs, middleware, Jira, Confluence, deployment tools, or solution design documentation.
• Familiarity with Apex, SOQL, Salesforce metadata, or deployment and change set processes.
• Experience using AI to improve implementation efficiency, documentation, testing coverage, or technical problem-solving.
