Physical Security Lead (International Security)

What you will do

• Lead the International Traveler Safety Program, including pre-travel risk assessments, destination guidance, traveler tracking, emergency communications, and support during incidents.
• Oversee physical security for international facilities and offshore delivery centers, including risk assessments, annual reviews, vulnerability remediation, and security planning for new or expanded locations.
• Serve as the primary physical security lead for South Carolina and support facilities and operations throughout the Southeast.
• Monitor geopolitical, criminal, terrorism, civil unrest, natural disaster, and other threats, translating intelligence into advisories, assessments, and executive briefings.
• Coordinate domestic and international crisis response, employee accountability, contingency planning, exercises, and after-action reviews.
• Manage security vendors, policies, procedures, metrics, training, law-enforcement relationships, and enterprise physical security initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be based in Charleston, South Carolina, and work in-office.
• Bachelor’s degree; roles at this level typically require 5+ years of relevant industry experience. Comparable education, certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered.
• Experience in corporate physical security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, diplomatic security, federal investigations, or a related field.
• Experience with physical security risk assessments, incident response, investigations, facility protection, international operations, travel security, geopolitical risk, or crisis management.
• Ability to brief senior leaders, develop practical risk-based recommendations, work independently, and collaborate across a geographically dispersed organization.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required; additional background checks may apply.

Nice to have

• Experience working with law enforcement, government agencies, intelligence providers, embassies, consulates, or private-sector security partners.
• Knowledge of access control, video surveillance, security technologies, facilities management, disaster recovery planning, and network or information security.
