Technical Project Manager (EUV)

Location: San Diego, California, United States; the role includes campus and clean room work and may require business travel.

Salary: $171,200–$235,400 annual base salary

What you will do

• Lead EUV droplet-generation research projects within the S-Next research program.
• Align project roadmaps with program planning and manage execution across the full project lifecycle.
• Create and maintain project plans covering experiments, testing, reporting and technical documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources across laser, controls, tin-management and droplet-generation research teams.
• Drive experimental design, technical concept evaluation and full-scale architecture performance demonstrations.
• Manage timing, budget, resourcing, risks, issues and mitigation plans while reporting progress to senior management.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in physics, laser engineering, photonics or an equivalent technical field.
• Substantial project management experience and a demonstrated record of leading and delivering several projects through their full lifecycle.
• Experience leading large technical projects in industrial and cross-cultural environments.
• Understanding of scientific research methods, experimental design and complex system development.
• Hands-on experience with complex system design and build, characterization and troubleshooting.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under United States Export Administration Regulations before starting work.
