Talent Manager - Operations (Fintech)

Location: London, UK. Hybrid role with work from home available on Mondays and Fridays; office attendance is expected on other weekdays.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end, high-volume hiring across Complaints, Fraud, Financial Crime, and Customer Operations.
• Manage a small team of Talent Partners while retaining individual contributor responsibilities.
• Build repeatable recruitment processes that maintain strong candidate and hiring-manager experiences.
• Partner with Operations leaders, using data, insight, and empathy to guide decisions and influence stakeholders.
• Use AI and automation to streamline hiring workflows and improve process efficiency.
• Analyze pipeline data, identify bottlenecks, and plan recruitment needs as volumes and priorities change.

Requirements

• Experience line managing a small team of Talent Partners alongside individual contributor work.
• Experience hiring for Operations roles or managing high-volume recruitment.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
• Data-driven approach with experience using analytics and reporting on recruitment processes and outcomes.
• Experience incorporating AI into everyday recruitment workflows.
• Experience working in fast-paced scale-up organizations and adapting beyond a core remit.

Hiring process

• 15-minute online cognitive assessment followed by a 30-minute Talent screen.
• 45-minute interview with a member of the Talent team.
• Final onsite stage: 40-minute task presentation with the Talent team and a 20-minute Leadership interview.
