Working Student - Payroll Operations & Process Automation (AI Process Automation)

Location: Hybrid role based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Availability of 16–20 hours per week and a minimum six-month commitment are required.

Salary: €16.25 gross per hour plus holiday pay.

What you will do

• Research and test automation of data flows from HiBob absence reports into recurring monthly absence templates.
• Build and implement AI agents, including solutions created with Dust, to streamline payroll queries and operational workflows.
• Consolidate working student hours and payroll inbox deductions into clear reports for payroll operations.
• Prepare and monitor monthly payroll deductions for car fines and loss of building-card access.
• Administer the current pension plan and prepare departmental invoices for Accounts Payable.
• Prepare monthly payroll balance-sheet account reconciliations using NetSuite reports.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Professional proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential payroll data with discretion and integrity.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.
• Availability for 16–20 hours per week and a minimum six-month commitment.

Nice to have

• Experience or interest in Power BI, SQL, AI platforms such as Dust, or process automation tools.
• Additional European language skills.
