Logistics Material Coordinator/Handler III (Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

Salary: $20.00–$27.50 per hour

What you will do

• Prioritize daily stores activities, receive parts, update inventory records, and maintain shortage reports.
• Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies and non-conformances, and prepare kits and materials for shipment.
• Coordinate material delivery to cleanroom environments and replenish line-side bins in manufacturing areas.
• Review MRP, work orders, project status, and WIP while expediting materials from vendors and suppliers.
• Move, transfer, rework, scrap, and control excess or obsolete inventory under supervisory direction.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, vans, trucks, overhead cranes, and other assigned material-handling equipment while following safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proficiency in a range of processes and procedures for assigned material-coordination tasks.
• Basic understanding of how the team integrates with other functions and ability to exchange information regularly.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment involving prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, tight spaces, noise, and hand or power tools.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, and drive a van or truck when required.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work in a cleanroom using required personal protective equipment, which may include coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
