Material Handler II (Weld-Fab)

Salary

Pay range: $23.75–$25.00 per hour, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Unload, inspect, move, store, and put away incoming materials, parts, and products.
• Move materials between manufacturing cells and the warehouse according to routings, delivery tickets, and orders.
• Pick orders from rack and bin storage systems and deliver materials to designated cells.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, stackers, hand trucks, and other powered industrial trucks, including loading and unloading trailers.
• Perform inventory transactions, bin maintenance, cycle counts, and required production and quality documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and support team training and quality checks.

Requirements

• Previous forklift certification and demonstrated safe operation of sit-down and stand-up power industrial trucks.
• 3–5 years of power industrial truck or forklift experience.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred, with previous warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, stackers, and other manual or powered moving equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret Bills of Material, use computer systems at an intermediate level, and pass written and practical equipment evaluations.
• Valid driver’s license and a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and skill development.
