Senior French Translator, Experience Design and Enablement - Bilingual (Fintech)

Location: Quebec, Canada; primarily remote with occasional on-site work

What you will do

• Translate, proofread, edit, evaluate, and manage French content for digital banking platforms and employee-facing applications.
• Review English-to-French translations for accuracy, consistency, concision, tone, typography, grammar, and French-Canadian nuances.
• Align content with hirify.global voice and tone, brand requirements, accessibility standards, and Office Québécois de la langue Française standards.
• Collaborate with content designers, translators, UX designers, accessibility consultants, UX researchers, developers, QA testers, business analysts, and product owners.
• Manage multiple translation initiatives within active agile workflows, sprints, and ceremonies.
• Recommend and implement improvements to translation processes, CAT tools, terminology resources, and content libraries.

Requirements

• Native-level French and fluent English are required.
• Degree or diploma in translation, or at least 7 years of translation experience.
• Current accreditation and good standing as a Certified English-to-French Translator.
• Experience with translation technologies such as Trados Studio, memoQ, Antidote, and MultiTerm, plus terminology resources including OQLF standards, Termium, and Le GDT.
• Experience translating and editing French content for product flows while following brand guidelines and WCAG standards.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
