Senior French Content Editor / Localization Specialist (Fintech)

Pay rate: CAD 44.93–53.91 per hour

hirify.global is recruiting for a role supporting a financial-services client through BeachHead.

What you will do

• Coordinate translation projects with external agencies and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Review, edit, and proofread English-to-French marketing and digital content for accuracy, tone, consistency, typography, and grammar.
• Translate copy directly when needed for websites, mobile apps, online banking, and other digital platforms.
• Ensure French content complies with organizational requirements and OQLF standards.
• Develop and maintain French editorial standards, terminology, and best practices.
• Manage multiple projects, collaborate in an Agile marketing framework, and resolve complex translation issues with stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in editorial, translation, and content editing within structured environments.
• Extensive experience editing French digital marketing or public-facing content.
• Degree in Translation or equivalent experience in French-language content.
• Native-level French proficiency and strong English skills required.
• Proficiency with Trados Studio, MemoQ, Antidote, and other CAT tools.
• Knowledge of French Canadian linguistic and cultural nuances, OQLF standards, Termium, and Le GDT.

Nice to have

• Experience working with digital platforms.
• Banking industry experience.
• Additional familiarity with Trados and MemoQ.
