Sr. Director, Litigation

Location: New York, New York, USA (Corporate Headquarters)

Base pay range: $215,000–$270,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage litigation across regulatory, employment and wage-and-hour, commercial, intellectual property, brand protection, privacy, TCPA, and personal injury matters.
• Collaborate with and direct outside counsel while supporting litigation strategy, risk management, and compliance.
• Advise business units on litigation exposure, legal risk, and dispute strategy.
• Represent company interests in administrative, court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
• Prepare and review pleadings, motions, administrative submissions, settlement agreements, releases, arbitration agreements, and waivers.
• Coordinate litigation holds, preservation, eDiscovery, budgets, legal trend monitoring, and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of litigation experience in-house, at a law firm, and/or with the government.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of New York, or another U.S. state license with the ability to apply for New York admission.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to business teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, exercise judgment, and advise across multiple substantive legal areas.
