Counsel, Corporate Legal Affairs

Location: Hybrid in New York, NY; minimum four days per week in the office. Candidates must be admitted to the New York State Bar or eligible to register as in-house counsel in New York.

Salary: $140,000–$170,000 per year, plus bonus and long-term incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Provide legal support for agreements and internal stakeholders across sourcing, corporate operations, information technology, and human resources.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and support corporate transaction agreements, including M&A-related activities.
• Advise business clients on contractual rights, duties, interpretation, risk allocation, and pre-litigation dispute resolution.
• Coordinate with Privacy, Information Security, and Compliance teams on the collection, use, and protection of personal and confidential information.
• Support business unit attorneys and help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of legal service delivery.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to register as in-house counsel in New York.
• 4+ years of experience at a law firm or in a comparable in-house position.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of deals and deadlines while working independently and collaboratively.

• Ability to adapt and develop expertise as business needs and technologies evolve.
• Experience providing timely and practical guidance to business stakeholders at different levels.
