Production Technician (Power Operations)

Location: Union, Kentucky, United States; rotating shift schedule; 5–15% travel

What you will do

• Safely start, operate, and maintain station boilers, turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems.
• Operate and maintain environmental systems, including FGD systems, balance-of-plant equipment, switchyards, and electrical distribution systems.
• Inspect plant equipment, record operating and equipment-status readings, and complete shift logs and work documentation.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and correct equipment problems through mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance.
• Perform Lockout Tagout energy-control procedures and follow environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Communicate during shift turnover and direct, train, or assist other personnel as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in industrial maintenance or operations.
• Valid driver’s license if required for the position.
• Successful completion of all required job qualification testing, training, and testing requirements.
• Ability to work lawfully in the United States without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
