What you will do

• Maintain and test low, medium, and high voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, and power transformers.
• Perform electrical maintenance for energy-from-waste boilers, pumps, fans, motors, and refuse cranes.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, and repair Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and facility instrumentation.
• Manage and repair Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and historian devices.
• Conduct preventative maintenance including routine calibration, thermography, and ultrasonic testing.
• Participate in plant shutdown activities and teardown inspections of electrical equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with motor starters, PLCs, and high power systems.
• Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.
• Qualification to wear a full-face respirator.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Jamesville, NY.
