Supplier Quality Engineer (HVAC)

What you will do

• Act as the primary quality liaison between manufacturing, supply chain, and suppliers.
• Establish supplier performance metrics and conduct supplier audits against applicable quality standards.
• Manage supplier non-conformances, root cause analysis, containment plans, SCARs, and corrective action closure.
• Define component storage and maintenance requirements and oversee supplier warranty compliance and claims.
• Partner with service and commissioning teams to analyze field failures and coordinate supplier support.
• Use warranty, field failure, and non-conformance data to improve product design, reliability, documentation, and supplier quality processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or a similar manufacturing role.
• Experience managing non-conformance and SCAR processes.
• Proficiency with FMEA, SPC, 8D, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or IATF 16949 standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing experience in automotive, aerospace, or HVAC.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification or Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification.
