Supplier Quality Engineer (Electrical Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the Blaine or Anoka, Minnesota sites, United States. Relocation support is provided. Travel to supplier locations may be required up to 30%.

Salary: $76,000–$141,100 per year, with potential eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Act as the liaison between production, program teams, engineering, sourcing, customers, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Build supplier and internal partnerships to identify and mitigate production risks.
• Lead root cause corrective action activities and Kaizen events in a zero-defect environment.
• Evaluate supplier robustness, validate corrective actions, and lead supplier engagement cadences.
• Participate in audits and lead the Supplier PPAP process.
• Travel to supplier locations and work directly with supply chain partners, up to 30% of the time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in supplier quality-related functions.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis methods including RCCA, 8D, 3L5Y, and Ishikawa.
• Experience with PPAP and related elements, including PFMEA, process control plans, capability studies, and MSA.
• Ability to work onsite at the Blaine or Anoka, Minnesota sites.

Nice to have

• CQE, CMQ, CQA, or APQP certification.
• ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor training.
• Training in Six Sigma, Lean, or process improvement.
