TL;DR
Coordinator, Case Management (Title IX): Managing complaints, inquiries, supportive measures, and case documentation for protected-characteristic harassment, discrimination, and misconduct matters with an accent on Title IX, non-discrimination compliance, and student safety. Focus on conducting intake interviews, supporting investigations, triaging intervention reports, and analyzing case data across higher education institutions.

Location: Chicago, IL, USA; hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week, Monday–Thursday

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

  • Conduct intake and first-line review of complaints, inquiries, and reports involving Title IX, sex-based misconduct, harassment, discrimination, and access.
  • Conduct intake interviews, explain investigation processes, coordinate outreach, and arrange supportive measures.
  • Assist Legal and the Office of Non-Discrimination and Access with case management and investigations.
  • Triage Situational Intervention Team reports, coordinate follow-up, and maintain documentation in the SpeakUp/EQS system.
  • Maintain correspondence, tracking systems, newsletters, and institutional web pages.
  • Analyze reporting data to identify trends and training needs across institutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s or other graduate degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years of higher education compliance experience, preferably in Title IX, ADA/Title 504, or student affairs.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, communication, active listening, and diplomatic skills.
  • Ability to independently manage confidential and sensitive matters with sound judgment.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, including qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Legal, Human Resources, Safety and Security, Regulatory Affairs, and institutional leaders.
