Focus on coordinating with business managers, access liaisons, medical teams, pharmacies, patients, and families while tracking U.S. patient status and reporting reimbursement trends.

Location: Remote role associated with Los Angeles, California, United States; up to 20% travel required.

Salary: $81,851.60–$110,740.40 per year.

What you will do

  • Oversee patient customer service issues involving insurance, specialty pharmacies, and patient support programs.
  • Coordinate with Regional Business Managers, Patient Access Liaisons, Medical Science Liaisons, pharmacies, medical offices, patients, and families to secure therapy access.
  • Resolve reimbursement challenges, including prior authorizations, denials, appeals, reauthorizations, overrides, and billing issues.
  • Maintain case histories and update reimbursement, adjudication, shipping, and patient status records for U.S. patients.
  • Partner with Safety and Pharmacovigilance to report adverse events and product complaints.
  • Track adherence and reimbursement trends, report case developments, and manage annual open-enrollment efforts.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree, or a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of case management experience.
  • Alternatively, an Associate’s degree with 6 years of case management experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 8 years of case management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills, with the ability to resolve hurdles across multiple cases.
  • Ability to learn product and disease information; familiarity with HIPAA and FDA requirements.
  • Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to coordinate across multiple geographies and time zones.

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • 2+ years of prior case management experience.
