Case Manager II, Claims Management

Location: Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; office-based at the Bentonville Home Office

Salary: $70,000–$130,000 annually, plus performance-based bonus compensation and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Review and investigate initial workers’ compensation and general liability claim reports.
• Manage mid-complexity claims throughout the full claim lifecycle and determine compensability under applicable statutes.
• Establish and adjust financial reserves within authority limits, escalating cases that exceed thresholds.
• Authorize and monitor medically necessary treatment and calculate wages and indemnity payments.
• Communicate with claimants, associates, customers, legal representatives, and other stakeholders.
• Negotiate resolutions, prepare claims for review, and maintain compliance with regulatory and internal procedures.

Requirements

• Experience managing workers’ compensation or general liability claims through the claim lifecycle.
• Strong claims investigation, resolution, adjudication, case management, negotiation, and risk management skills.
• Ability to establish accurate reserves and make decisions within assigned financial authority.
• Knowledge of medical treatment authorization using Official Disability Guidelines and nurse resources.
• Current or recently held Property & Casualty Adjuster License, held within the last three years.
• High school diploma or GED plus at least one year of relevant experience, or three years of relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• Experience settling claims and providing customer service.
• Industry designations such as AIC or WCCP.
