Case Manager II, Claims Management

Location: 608 SW 8th St., Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; onsite at the Bentonville Home Office

Annual salary: $70,000–$130,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation

What you will do

• Review initial claim reports and determine compensability under applicable jurisdictional statutes.
• Manage mid-complexity workers’ compensation and general liability claims through the full claim lifecycle.
• Establish and adjust reserves within authority limits and escalate claims exceeding thresholds.
• Authorize and monitor medically necessary treatment according to applicable guidelines.
• Calculate wages, issue indemnity payments, communicate with claimants and stakeholders, and negotiate settlements.
• Identify potential fraud, present claims for review approval, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Requirements

• Experience in claims investigations, resolution, and case management within workers’ compensation, general liability, insurance operations, or a related area.
• Either a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent plus 1 year of relevant experience, or 3 years of relevant experience.
• Current or prior Property & Casualty Adjuster License held within the last 3 years.
• Knowledge of regulatory and jurisdictional requirements, reserving, adjudication, escalation, and claims lifecycle management.
• Ability to communicate with injured associates, customers, legal representatives, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze data and apply best practices to improve claim outcomes and operational efficiency.
