Medical Laboratory Scientist - Full time - Evenings

Location: Nashua, NH, United States; onsite, 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Rotating every third weekend and holiday rotations.

What you will do

• Perform qualitative and quantitative laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other body-fluid specimens.
• Work across one or more areas including blood bank, chemistry, coagulation, hematology, microbiology, serology, and urinalysis.
• Report clinical results accurately and within prescribed time frames.
• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
• Identify out-of-range test systems, document findings, and take corrective action.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Degree requirements may be completed within two years of hire.
• ASCP registry or equivalent is preferred; exam eligibility is required.
• Internship in an approved CLSI program or one year of experience as a Medical Technologist.
• Experience with specimen collection.
