Location: On-site in Arlington, Texas, at 906 W. Randol Mill St. Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

What you will do

  • Collect, identify, process, and send patient specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Perform chemistry, hematology, immunology, CLIA-waived, and moderately complex testing under supervision.
  • Maintain accessioning, test report, quality control, equipment, and maintenance records.
  • Operate laboratory equipment, perform scheduled maintenance, and troubleshoot issues with technical services as needed.
  • Prepare patients, including taking vital signs, support patient flow, and arrange blood product transfusions when ordered.
  • Maintain supplies, work areas, safety standards, confidentiality, and hazardous-material disposal procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of laboratory experience.
  • Experience with phlebotomy, specimen collection, processing, and laboratory testing.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures, quality guidelines, CLIA requirements, OSHA regulations, and universal precautions.
  • Ability to work on-site with patients and handle blood, body fluids, needles, chemicals, infectious agents, and laboratory equipment.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
