Electrical Assembler

IMT, an hirify.global company, manufactures service vehicles and material handling systems for mining, construction, tire service, railroad, and utility industries.

What you will do

• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics, assembly drawings, vendor instructions, and service manuals.
• Complete pre-wiring for cab consoles and truck-box electronics.
• Install electronic options, timer boards, and special electrical options in truck cabs and boxes.
• Align and mesh gears in gearbox assemblies.
• Work with engineers and quality technicians on testing procedures and issue resolution.
• Train and instruct team members on assembly procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous heavy manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems and common-sense understanding of electrical wiring.
• Ability to use calipers, scales, pneumatic hand tools, pedestal grinders, electrical test equipment, wiring, and crimping tools.
• Ability to use metal and plastic materials and basic measuring instruments.
• Skill in at least twelve Electrical Assembler skills-matrix quadrants.
