Electrical Assembler (Packaging Automation)

Location: Alexandria, MN, USA; onsite at the Alexandria facility; first shift

Salary: $23.00–$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform electrical wiring and assembly for product-line electrical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and prints, and wire machine panels independently.
• Assist with machine testing, final adjustments, and the World Class Checkout Process.
• Lead a small team across multiple product lines and monitor assembly schedules, hours, and resources.
• Inspect panels and wiring for neatness, conformance, and compliance with assembly standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical assemblers, engineers, and project managers; travel for installation and servicing as needed.

Requirements

• Two-year technical college degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of electrical assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret electrical schematics and prints.
• Mechanical and electrical capability, solid problem-solving skills, and potential to motivate or lead others.
• Working knowledge of UL, CE, and NEMA ratings.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
