Senior Firmware Engineer (GNSS)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software and firmware for GNSS receiver products.
• Build high-performance C/C++ software, including embedded Linux services, networking components, and hardware and operating system interfaces.
• Refactor legacy code into modular, maintainable, and testable architectures.
• Integrate firmware with hardware, operating systems, GNSS technologies, and RTK, PPP, and CSSR correction services.
• Optimize performance, resource utilization, scalability, and reliability across hardware targets.
• Diagnose complex system and integration issues and collaborate with software, hardware, algorithms, systems, and QA engineers.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional embedded software or firmware development experience.
• Strong C/C++, modern C++, CMake, embedded Linux, Linux architecture, system APIs, networking, multithreading, and real-time operating systems experience.
• Experience with hardware/software integration, debugging, performance optimization, legacy code modernization, and software architecture.
• Experience with version control, CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, and development tools; Python knowledge for scripting, automation, and testing.
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency is required; experience working in international, cross-disciplinary engineering teams is expected.

Nice to have

• Experience with GNSS technologies and correction services such as RTK, PPP, and CSSR.
