Manager, CNC Machining (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Manage CNC machining personnel performing machine setup, machining, inspection, and production activities.
• Assign machining resources, set production priorities, and direct daily operations against safety, quality, cost, schedule, and delivery objectives.
• Oversee tooling, production scheduling, equipment utilization, machining readiness, performance metrics, and manufacturing issue resolution.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, production control, supply chain, and operations teams.
• Develop machining personnel through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Drive process, safety, productivity, efficiency, cost, and operational excellence improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, industrial technology, mechanical engineering, operations management, or a related field, plus 7–9 years of related experience.
• 1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Advanced proficiency in CNC machining operations, precision machining, manufacturing processes, GD&T, and shop floor operations.
• Experience managing CNC personnel, production schedules, machining resources, tooling, equipment utilization, quality systems, and continuous improvement.
• Expertise with CNC machine controls and manufacturing software such as Haas, Fanuc, Mazatrol, Siemens, or equivalent systems.
• Strong understanding of MES, ERP, production management applications, safety requirements, and written and verbal communication.
